It's Saturday night, Lakers are going to whoop the Clippers, so I'm a-ok. Actually I'm on a few tylenol for my back pain right now. I have been working on a pond in the back yard for the last week. In all honesty, I have put in about 30 hours on the thing, and now its near completion, it looks great...I'm posting a few of the pics on here. You can kind of follow the progress. Also, the pic of the snake? Well, I found that snake in the bottom of the half-finished pond this mornin'. We have lots of wild life in the back and well, there's proof. Im positive over the days to come, there will be many more.
The first pic you see, is where it all started, the dirt, where I had to dig the hole. The second, well you can see for yourself, my shoe after a hard days work! The third pic is the pond protected from the rain.

It's a Friday and not much happening. Lots happening this weekend though. Finishing the pond I've been working on, football playoffs and the Lakers Vs. Clippers which is actually worth watching nowadays.

I saw this guy next to me on the way home from work today, just looked like fun to be on a Harley! However this bike looks a bit small and like it only carries one person! I'd rather have a two seater to ride the significant other around!

Well USC just lost in the Rose Bowl, after two undefeated seasons and nearly a third, they lost it all to a team who had one good player...Texas quarterback Vince Young, who ran for 200 yards? What is he a running back? Just another Michael Vick I guess...

Anyway, I really wanted to post and start a new topic "Books". You see, I read 19 books in 2005 and hope to break that record this year! So I've added a pic of the first book I will be reading this year. It's "Dangling In The Tournefortia" by Charles Bukowski. Short stories and poems. Bukowski happens to be my fave author, so i'm sure 6 or 7 of his books will end up on my list. Well it's off to the shower, then to reading and then to bed!

Goodnight, and oh well on the USC thing.

BLACK OUT!
Well, I was unable to post yesterday due to a black out in the house.
It's been raining like crazy here, even rained on the rose parade! That
was the first time it rained on the rose parade since 1951! We spent the
day building a fire, staying warm and figuring out how to warm food with
no electricity! We still don't have phone service, hopefully they will
restore that soon. Today is my first day back at work after vacation!
Today also marks the day the 3rd Stokes cd comes out and hey, the number
three has some significance, so hopefully it will be the Strokes best
album! Other than that, all is as usual.

Happy New Year everyone! Thought I'd send in a pic of where I was last night. Downtown Los Angeles for a New Years party! Had a ton of fun. Anyway, won't say much today, I slipped while building a pond out in the back, its raining and muddy, nearly broke my shoulder!

This is it, the first and last post of 2005! I have created this blog to document the next year of my life. We are going to a new years eve party in about 30 minutes, and will ring in 2006 with a bang, thought i'd post this pic as the last pic of 2005!
